A wonderful start to the new year ... Elizabeth was approached by local radio station PALM FM, to see if she would give them an interview about her forthcoming ‘Colour, Art and Healing' Exhibition at the South Devon Healthcare Trust Gallery. Elizabeth agreed, and went in at the crack of dawn on Saturday
6 th January to record the interview, with husband and son in tow ... it was great fun.
Elizabeth told Palm News that it was being in hospital herself which motivated her to put on the exhibition of bright abstract landscapes....”

‘Betwixt moor and sea...
“I discovered a new obsession last summer, besides my enduring fascination with the sea... fly fishing!
I am blessed to live in a most beautiful part of the world: on a hot summer's day, standing next to my favourite moorland river, I am completely torn between wanting to fish it or paint it… What a lovely dilemma to
have in life! “
An exciting year so far...
- Spring 2006 - the ‘Colour' exhibition opens in Totnes, and is well received.
- Summer 2006 - the launch of Elizabeth 's web site.
- Summer 2006 – the launch of two sister web sites: (see links)
- Summer 2006 - Elizabeth oversees the setting up of a permanent exhibition space for her work at ‘Platters' , Torre, Torquay (see Press Releases: 13th October 2006 )
- Summer 2006 – Elizabeth is commissioned to design corporate logos for two new companies.
- Elizabeth 's passion for fly fishing has inspired her to paint a new series of unique watercolours. In them she studies the Rainbow, Brown and Sea Trout to be found in the waters of Devon , England , aiming to reproduce the subtle colouring and delicate beauty of these wonderful creatures. (see ‘Gallery')
- September 2006 - The excellent American company ‘Orvis' , renowned for its high standards, purchased several of Elizabeth 's paintings. Two of her trout watercolours now grace the walls of their Head Office in Hampshire , UK , whilst others are available to purchase from 3 of the UK stores (see ‘Outlets').
